Background to my logo
Have you ever felt the pull toward something greater—toward becoming more you? That deep longing for clarity, confidence, and connection? That’s exactly why Rooted in Living was born.
Let me tell you how I came up with my logo, and the name of my coaching practice:
Then there’s the Phoenix, a powerful symbol of rebirth. Life isn’t about staying the same—it’s about evolving, even through setbacks. Just like the phoenix rises from the ashes, we rebuild, rediscover, and transform into something even stronger.
For the name of my coaching practice all thanks goes to my very good friend Tracey at Muscle Muse. A few years back I had the privilege to have Tracey as my coach for Pilates. You see the name for the Pilates business was Rooted in Pilates. Remembering this years later helped me to come up with the name Rooted in Living. I always want to live and not just exist in this one life deal, that I graciously got.
The multitude of colour also tells a story. The earthy greens reflect growth, renewal, and wisdom, embodying the energy of the Tree of Life—deeply rooted yet constantly evolving. The warm golds and fiery oranges strengthens the symbol of the Phoenix, representing resilience, transformation, and the courage to rise from challenges. Together, they create a balance between stability and change, grounding you while inspiring movement toward new possibilities.
Just like in life, colour speaks where words fall short—it ignites emotion, sparks reflection, and invites transformation.
Rooted in Living is more than a brand; it’s a journey of self-discovery, painted in the shades of rebirth, strength, and deep authenticity.
